- Location data: approximate or precise location (with your permission) to power map-based search via Google Maps API.

- Stripe: payment status and transaction identifiers (we do not receive full card details).
- Google Maps API: location data used to display campsite listings on the map.
- Ad networks: anonymised signals for serving relevant in-app ads to free-tier users.

6. In-App Advertising
Free-tier users of Camp Swap will see in-app advertisements served by third-party advertising networks. These networks may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve ads relevant to your interests. You can opt out of personalised advertising through your device’s ad settings. Upgrading to Camp Swap Premium removes all ads.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at privacy@campswap.app. Certain data may be retained for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution purposes even after account deletion.
